Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique that deposits pigment into the dermis layer of the skin.  The pigment is designed to break down and fade in the skin over time.  Cosmetic tattooing is a way to mimic the look of naturally applied makeup and can save time for those who apply makeup daily.

While pain tolerance varies from person to person, topical anesthetic is used during your session to maximize comfort.  Most clients experience little to no discomfort and stay quite relaxed.  When the procedure is complete and the topical anesthetic wears off, there is minimal tenderness and swelling.

Permanent makeup will last approximately 2-5 years depending upon which technique is performed.  A persons’ current health and health history can play a role with pigment retention so there are no guarantees.  Usually, every 12-18 months are preferred to keep the desired effect looking its best.

The procedure is a two-step process spaced 6 weeks apart.  The 2^nd session is simply used for enhancing and fine tuning. The initial procedure is 2.5-3 hours and allow for 1.5-2 hours for the 2^nd session. Following each procedure, there is a 7-12 day healing process.

The goal is to always work with your natural eyebrow shape and hairs.  If you still have eyebrow hairs, you will occasionally tweeze/wax around the brow shape, but this is easy to do now that you have your new defined brow shape to follow.
